My Philosophy

Therapy is a Supportive Process

I view therapy as a productive and intentional process between the client and therapist. Together, we’ll explore your concerns, fears, and roadblocks and design a strategy to help you overcome these concerns and reach your goals.

“We’re all human, we all need help, guidance, or a safe place to work out what’s best for us sometimes.”

I believe that everyone has a certain wisdom, strength, and resilience in the face of challenges and change. Therapy is a supportive and accepting space for us to acknowledge and address these challenges, together.

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.”

– Brené Brown

Redefine and Revitalize Your Life

There a is stigma around reaching out for therapy and support, so I’m really glad you are here. It takes courage to reach out to get the support you need despite this stigma.

It is my belief that therapy can help you redefine your ideal life and start to plot a course for how to achieve that success. Our sessions are about showing you how to examine your circumstances and how to begin to explore new avenues to success.

“Navigate the uncertainties and difficulties in life, and find your best way forward.”

I offer highly individual and personalized support to each client that arrives in my office. You won’t find any one-size-fits-all methods here! We will dive deep and examine the issues most pressing to your current situation:

  • Relationships – gain tools to form or maintain relationships including conflict management, healthy communication, developing deeper connection, navigating change and challenges, family dynamics, co-parenting and parenting.
  • Life transitions – Supporting independence, skills to manage change, responsibility, self-development, clarity of life goals or purpose.
  • Anxiety – Manage worry and feel confident about life.
  • Depression – Feel purposeful and have more energy in life.
  • Fear – Recognize what’s important to you and how to move toward that despite the fear.
  • Avoidance – Understand why you avoid and consider other strategies to manage discomfort.
